PSALTER (Bon’s Book of Praise)
Before reading the Psalter appointed for the morning, one says:
In the Name of Jehovih the Almighty. {Sign}
O Jehovih, open my mouth;
And my mouth shall declare Your praise.
O Jehovih, in the morning You will hear my voice;
In the morning will I say my prayer to You,
and I will keep watch.
Before reading the Psalter appointed for the evening, one says:
In the Name of Jehovih the Almighty. {Sign}
O Jehovih, open my mouth;
And my mouth shall declare Your praise.
Answer me when I call, O Jehovih my righteousness;
You have set me at large when I was in distress:
Have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.
After concluding the reading for Morning or Evening, one says:
Evening, and morning, and at noonday, I call upon Jehovih;
And He hears my voice.
