Walk the Talk

“Take your chosen of the congregation of your church, and make manifest whereof ye preach.” (Book of Judgement 18:3)

The 18th chapter of the Book of Judgement is certainly an indictment against nominal Christianity and its leaders who can not seem to swindle enough money from their followers. Many preachers TALK about charity but do not DO charity. Their religious attire is often very expensive. That money could have helped purchase several meals for the poor and homeless. I am thinking too of the false teachings known as “Prosperity Gospel” and “Name It Claim It.”

Not Converting the World

“I am not come to captivate the ignorant and unlearned. Nor am I come to call sinners to repentance. Nor to convert the debauchee, nor to convert the profane man, nor to convert the harlot. Sufficient have been other revelations unto all these. Nor have I come to say: Behold, this is my book! And there shall be none other! But, behold, I come to found Jehovih’s kingdom on earth. I come to the wise and learned. And not to one man only; but to thousands.” (Book of Judgement 17:15-18)

People ask, “Why aren’t you more involved with missionary work in Faithism?” I think the 15th chapter of the Book of Judgement sums that up quite effectively.

Notes on the Book of Fragapatti 21:4-7

4. To corporeans I give corporeal eyes and corporeal ears, that they might attain to wisdom on the earth; but to a few I give su’is, that they may see and hear things spiritually.

5. To the spirits of mortals who die in infancy, I give spiritual eyes and spiritual ears; but without cultivation they hear not corporeal things, nor see corporeal things. But to such spirits as have fulfilled an earth life, I created them to see and hear after death the matters of both worlds.

6. Nevertheless, there are many spirits in heaven who have not fulfilled either a spiritual or a corporeal life, and they can see but little and hear but little; for which reason I commanded that they should be called drujas, signifying, spirits of darkness.

7. And I sent My Gods and My Lords, saying to them: Go ye to the spirits of darkness, for they neither see nor hear heaven nor earth, and are wandering about indifferent even to their own nakedness.

Notes for First Book of the First Lords. Chapter I, Chapter II

Chapter 1

Between chapter 1:2 and 1:8, there is an unknown period of time from when the angels appeared as mortals and when “the Lord commanded the angels to give up their forms, and to be no more seen as mortals.” Some have claimed that the angels existed in mortal form for six generations. This is erroneous. The reference to “six generations” is found in verse 8, but is referring to how long the angels (after they shed their mortal image) were to teach the I’hins.

Oahspe Study Notes for Lika XIV

There are various levels of hell, each with its own name and number of angels. (14:3-6)

Certain beings came upon earth “fastening upon mortals”, and at times bringing death to “large cities and nations.” This death is disease, likely airborne. The Oahspe Bible says these beings “impregnated the air with poison … and these were called plagues.” (14:7)

Reference to three resurrections (14:8)

Angels that “engraft themselves on mortals, becoming as a twin spirit to the one corporeal body” are referred to as reincarnated spirits. (14:9) In contrast, certain spirits took control of infants not permitting their souls to progress, growing as the infant grew. These spirits are referred to as “damons.” The term damon (daemon) is Latin, referring to lesser deities and spirits. Faithists view these as harmful spirits.

Oahspe Study Notes – Lika XIII

Humans’ “grade of understanding”, desires and aspirations are recorded (13:3). The purpose of this is to determine whether or not earth should receive an increase of light (knowledge) “for the ultimate (eventual and sure) perfection of her soul harvests.”

The spirits of the dead are “measured” or examined in a similar manner as that of living humanity. (13:4)
