Book of Inspiration, chapter 10 (adapted)

In the beginning, no one saw Me or heard My voice, says Jehovih.

Even now, many walk in shadows and deny My presence.

I teach you, My child, to honour the gifts of your brothers and sisters, for My helpers work hard to guide you.

I show you that no two eyes see My creation in the same way.

I caution you: because your ears do not hear My voice, do not judge the one who listens to Me.

I nudge you gently, allowing your spirit to walk freely.

I keep you alert, so you may learn from the whispers I place in your heart.

I make you question the words of others, so you will seek Me with your own spirit, to see Me and hear Me clearly.

Long ago, only a few among the people could feel My presence.

You could call to the deer in the forest or the wolf on the plains, “Great Spirit! Great Spirit!”

And they would not understand your words.

So it was with most of the people in the ancient times.

But today, I have stirred many hearts awake.

Soon, all the tribes of the earth will know Me.

This is the path I laid before you. Walk it with courage.

Yet you have built walls and turned your face from Me.

You have said: “It is nature! It is law! It is instinct! It is a dream!”

But I tell you: I have swept these things away. They no longer stand before Me.

I need no laws; I move through all things by My Spirit.

I am not far; I walk beside you.

I gave no animal its ways; it is My breath that guides all their steps.

I do not teach through visions alone; I am the Source of all life and motion.

I am not hard to find. I am clear as the sunrise.

My Hand is open to all who reach for Me.

My Voice is strong and steady for those who turn away from empty words and serve Me through good deeds.

My Light is here, and it shines for all who follow the highest path in their hearts.
