Committing to One Spiritual Path

1. The importance of having one Teacher, one Holy Book and one Assembly can not be over-emphasised.

2. When people run from one teacher to another, or from one tradition to another, it is as if they are running up and down the seashore full of anxiety because they are seeking something that their minds are not permitting them to find.

3. Their preconceptions are clouding their minds and their feet are shuffling in the sand, wasting vast amounts of energy that could otherwise have been used to focus on one teacher and one tradition.

4. Teachers are supposed to serve as guides and guides only. Teachers can only help you find the path to liberation; you must maintain that path.
