Chapter 55
Monks, Nuns and Hermits
1. Regarding the monks, nuns and hermits: there are some individuals who have chosen to live by a strict rule of faith in a community or by a rule of faith as a solitary Faithist (a hermit).
2. A person who wishes to be a monk or nun is not required to remain unmarried to do so.
3. Some monks and nuns may wish to take up such a vocation for a certain amount of time.
4. Virginity is not a requirement for initiates into a monastery or convent.
